This site should work for a superintendent reading it one-handed on a roof, and for anyone using a screen reader or a keyboard.
Our target
WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We treat it as a requirement of the build, not a pass at the end.
What that means here
Text meets AA contrast against its background. Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard with a visible focus state. Tap targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels. Tables, navigation and form fields carry proper labels and landmarks, and images carry text alternatives.
Documents
Technical and safety data sheets are supplied as PDFs. If a sheet you need is not readable with your assistive technology, ask and we will send the content in a format that works.
Known limits
The technical and safety data sheets are PDFs without accessibility tags, so a screen reader may read their tables out of order. The roof assessment PDF from the 3D roof module is not tagged for screen readers; an accessible copy is available on request from info@sescoroof.com. Links inside a sentence are smaller than 44 by 44 pixels. Automated accessibility checks run on every change to this site; a manual review with the VoiceOver and NVDA screen readers is planned, and this statement will be updated with what it finds.
